High torque DC motors

Is there any news on if/when the 6V high torque motors for the Diddyborg will become available again? Or can someone suggest an alternate?
I'm building something similar but articulated in 2 planes and autonomous ..... I've hacked a RC car for the time being.

I'll post some photos/video when I've got the speed under control - it's awfully fast at the moment and the control software can't map the layout quickly enough.... one of the limitations of a PI I suppose!

Alternative Motor

Hey folks!
Please direct me to an alternative motor. I'm putting something together- and I cannot wait for these motors to come in. What alternative do you suggest?

High(er) spec motors

Is there any chance you will offer the Motor/Gearbox/Wheel combo from the Metal Diddyborg... Or a more reliable manufacturer... ?

I've shelved my project for the last few months due to work in the real job - apart from a few sketch-up variants. I'll probably build a 'standard' diddy to use while I optimise the mapping s/w and I can take it away with me.
I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that a single rPi won't cut it, unless I cluster the Pis - that is not something I've done since I built a Beowulf cluster about 12 years ago and I only have 2 pies.

12V DiddyBorg Motors out of Stock

It seems the 12V DiddyBorg motors (and therefore DiddyBorg Red Edition) are currently again out of stock. Will they be available again? And can you estimate when?
