Piborg Hi Torque Stepper Motor Wiring

Hi all,

Have used the PiBorg Reverse on DC Motors fine.
Small Stepper Motors are also fine as the 5 wires match the colours on the "Getting Started" diagrams perfectly.

However I have two queries about the Hi Torque stepper motor:

1) What voltage will be required to run it? (I'm guessing 12 but don't want to blow anything up:-)

2) The Hi Torque Stepper Motor has,Blue, Red, Black and Green wires but these colours do not match the Getting Started Guide on what to plug into M1-, M1+, M2- and M2+

Just to clarify for others we are talking about the large stepper motor on our website:
https://www.piborg.org/accessories/large_stepper

1. You are correct, the stepper is indeed intended for 12V operation.

2. In this case the wire pairs should be black / green and red / blue.
Each pair should be wired to either M1 or M2.
This arrangement should work fine:
M1+ -> Black
M1- -> Green
M2+ -> Red
M2- -> Blue

Everything else should work the same as the smaller stepper motor.
