DC Motor Surge

I've now fried three motor controllers with a 10A 24V DC motor. each time it would appear the mosfets explode during direction changes or stopping. How can I prevent this? and can someone send me a replacement mosfet that I can solder on for repair?

Sorry to hear you are having problems getting a controller to drive your motor correctly.
Hopefully we can figure out what is going wrong for you.

If you could tell us some more about your setup it will help us determine what the problem is:

  1. Do you have any information / specifications for the motor you are using?
  2. Can you show us how the motor(s) is connected to the PicoBorg Reverse?
  3. What script are you running to drive the motor(s)?
