Measurement question

Hello everyone

I have a question about the Diddyborg.
Not bought it yet, it will be a Christmas present.

Question is:

What is the size of the gap between the back of the pi camera support and the edge of the HDMI socket on a pi2 when a pi2 is used in the Diddyborg?

I hope that makes sense.

A little more information to help explain.
The manual indicates that the HDMI socket is near impossible to access when in place.
I hope to use a flexible HDMI connector to enable access.
But depends on available space

Thanks

The HDMI connector is rather close, I think it is fairly unlikely that even a small HDMI cable will fit with a camera in place.

These are the approximate distances between the Raspberry Pi and the mount / camera.
HDMI port to the Perspex mount is 16mm
HDMI port to a fitted camera is 13mm

If you are not planning on using the camera, the DiddyBorg is still rigid without the mount fitted.

If you do wish to fit an HDMI cable and a camera we have had other people add another tier using an additional Perspex panel and some extra stands.
If you would be interested in this send us a message using the contact us form and we can sort out some additional parts for you.
