Using 108mm wheels with diddyborg red 12v

I am about to change the chassis to a home build and want to build a bigger rig with bigger wheels for more ground clearance and better off road performance.
I am wondering how well it will perform with 108mm tyres?

DiddyBorg Red Edition should work just fine with those larger wheels, he has plenty of torque to spare :)
He should move a fair bit faster with larger wheels, a definite upgrade.

As you are building your own chassis we would recommend making it wider as well as longer.
If you only make the chassis longer it will not spin as easily, especially with the chunky off-road tires.

Thanks for that.
I will design it to be square in relation to contact point of outer tyres... approx 280x280mm square centre to centre tyre contact points but chassis will be more like 350-400 long.... a work in progress
