Powering DiddyBorg v2 through USB

Hi

Assuming I switch the battery pack off, is it OK to power the DiddyBorg through the standard Raspberry Pi USB power source? I’m not too worried if the motors don’t work, just need a bit of reassurance that I won’t damage the ThunderBorg card. I would like to be able to power up the Pi to install code.

Thanks

As long as the batteries are disconnected you can power the Raspberry Pi using a USB power supply without any problems :)

In this state you will still be able to control the ThunderBorg, but the motors will not be able to move.

Thanks for your response.
